The lake is surrounded by mountains and hills covered with olive trees, vineyards and fruit orchards. It is located between Verona and Milan, about 30 km south of Brescia. The town of Limone del Garda lies on the shores of the lake and is known for its beautiful beaches and its medieval castle.
